QUALITY STATEMENT.

We offer guaranteed quality service in relevant fields of Medicine; which we interpret broadly. Our guarantee is meaningful because it is backed by adherence to the requirements of The International Standards Organisation and the inspection criteria of British Standards Institute, in addition to the standards laid down for our staff by their respective professions. The advice and treatments delivered will be the best possible, taking account of your circumstances and our resources. We will refer patients if in our opinion another doctor is more appropriate to deal with the problem. Our charges will be reasonable in the circumstances. We will do our best to understand the wishes and thinking of patients or clients and will respond according to those wishes so far as professional conscience allows. We will preserve confidentiality. In return we expect that: Patients and clients will give us all necessary information, voluntarily or in response to our enquiries, and specifically concerning all medications being taken or that were taken in the past, including herbal medications, whether obtained from orthodox medical sources or not. Patients and clients will do their best to understand and follow whatever advice they are given and to tell us if there is any point that they do not understand or have difficulty in carrying out. Any complaint will be dealt with promptly, and if directed in writing to the General Manager a written reply will be given within 14 days.

Pricing Policy.

Prices for clinical medical services are kept to the minimum possible. Payment is due in advance in cash or by credit card or direct bank transfer, either before or upon arrival, and we reserve the right to secure payment at the time of making an appointment. Quoted prices are for payment in advance, may be increased if payment is delayed for any reason, and refunds in respect of consultation appointments are made only if cancellation is made at least two clear days [72 hours] before the appointment. A patient or client who wishes to ask for reimbursement upon compassionate grounds should write to the General Manager explaining the circumstances. Additional charges such as for pathology tests or for treatments will be agreed with the patient before any charge is made and in the case of prices appearing in our official price lists that is for payment at the time when arrangements are made for the test, medication or procedure concerned. If any other approach is desired than payment on the spot or in advance, as described above, there will be a surcharge. Cheque payments are subject to surcharge. If it is brought to our notice that any aspect of our service does not meet the criteria in our Quality Statement, and if we agree that this is so, relevant charges will be reimbursed in full. Any complaint of this nature should be addressed to the General Manager, as described in the Quality Statement. Credit card payment is preferred for all purposes and is very much the simplest and most secure method both for the patient or client and for us. You, as patient or client, have the credit card guarantee to fall back on, so there is actually better financial protection for you, even compared with cash paid into our hands against a receipt or direct bank-to-bank transfer. Contracts and established credit customers are not affected by these arrangements.
